Zahn Contracting Officer (631) 468-1110 The Federal Aviation Administration, Eastern Region, requires Cafeteria/concession services at the New York Air Route Traffic Control Center, Ronkonkoma, New York during the hours of 6:00 AM through 10:00PM, seven days a week including all holidays. Service is expected to begin on/or before April 1, 2000 with four (4) one-year option periods. The Government provides space, equipment and utilities. The solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business located in Nassau and Suffolk counties and the five boroughs of New York City (Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn, Staten Island and Manhattan). Sic Code is 5812. Subcontracting will not be permitted with the exception of the vending machines. Offeror will be evaluated on the following areas: 1. Past Performance a. Business Experience, b. References, c .Quality, d. Cooperative, e. Interact with Personnel, f. Key Personnel, and Reputation and experience in providing food services for workers in office or industrial buildings comparable to that described in the statement of work. 2. Finances. a. Adequacy of budget and accounting systems and procedures, including a projected annual operating statement for the cafeteria to be operated. b. Financial Resources. 3. Menu (Pricing, variety based on cyclical menus, portion sizes). 4. Personnel staffing including the proposed manager and supervisors. 5. Knowledge and compliance with sanitation and applicable Federal, State and Municipal laws, codes and regulations. 6. Experience in administering contracts under the Service Contract Act.
