This announcement consititutes the only Request for Quotation, proposals are being requested and a separate written request will not be issued. The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-10. This Request for Quotation is a Small Business-Small Purchase Set-Aside in accordance with FAR 52.219-1. Clin 0001, Lease Commercial Aircraft, C-130/L-382, for the period 28 February 2000/0600L through 03 March 2000/1600L, Location: Pinal Air Park, Marana, Arizona. Provide on-site training platform, jump sight elevator service. Total amount of on-site flying hours for training are estimated at 25.0 hours of elevator service; and 2.5 hours positioning and de-positioning of aircraft to and from training site. Daily usage will vary according to training profile requirements, averaging 5 hours per day. The number of U.S. Military personnel engaging in the training ranges between 40-50 individuals. Training will consist of daytime and night-time High Altitute Low Opening (HALO) and High Altitude High Opening evolutions to altitudes to include 24,999 ft as designated by the government POC listed. The contractor's lodging and per diem is included in the cost per flying hour.
