2-N&LocID=11. E-MAIL: Susan Gaumer, susan.gaumer@gsa.gov. The projected
date for the Pre-Solicitation Conference for this synopsis is amended,
and will not be held on FEB 17, 00. However, The General Services
Administration is currently planning on a new projected date of FEB 23,
00 and will issue another amendment to confirm the final date. The
General Services Administration has a requirement for scheduled
certificated U.S. airlines to provide passenger transportation
services, Governmentwide, for approximately 6,000
domestic/international airport pairs. The requirement-type contracts
will be for one year beginning OCT 1, 2000, and include one 2-month and
one 1-month option periods. The contracts are solely for the movement
of passengers and are used by almost all Federal agencies and various
other authorized users. They do not require travel agent services and
do not include any role for travel agents. Air carriers who are not
currently approved by the Department of Defense (DOD) must, prior to
award, have appropriate Federal Aviation Administration certification,
adequate insurance, and be approved by DOD based on successful
completion of a technical safety evaluation including an on-site survey
(audit) by DOD. Carriers who are otherwise eligible must also
participate in the Civil Reserve Air Fleet (CRAF) program. For
information regarding the CRAF program, call the Office of the
Assistant for Civil Air at 618-256-6751. All responsible sources will
be considered. A Pre-solicitation Conference will be held. The
projected date for the conference is FEB 23, 2000. A notice will be
posted on the eps web site at a later date to confirm the final date
for the conference. Reservations are required to attend the conference
and may be made by calling the Point of Contracts listed in this
synopsis. A draft solicitation will be issued on or about FEB 1, 2000.
The final solicitation will be issued on or about FEB 22, 2000, and
close on or about FEB 29, 2000. THE DRAFT AND FINAL SOLICITATIONS WILL
