Fabricate / Deliver 130 Metal Stair Railings, ISC, Kodiak, Alaska. Estimated Price is between $25,000 and $100,000. Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, materials, etc. to fabricate and deliver Metal stair railings according to the specifications and drawings. Contractor shall confirm all measurements prior to manufacturing of the railings. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Contractor shall be a firm experienced in producing steel stair railings similar to those indicated for this project with a record of successful in-service performance and with sufficient production capacity to produce required units without delaying the work. Contractor shall produce one unit and deliver it to the customer for inspection of workmanship and installation. If the unit is not constructed properly, all necessary corrections shall be completed by the Contractor BEFORE acceptance. ONLY after acceptance of the completed unit, will the Contracting Officer approve the construction and delivery of the remaining 129 units (to be built to the same standards as accepted unit). Completed units shall be individually wrapped in bubble wrap, and separated or spaced in the shipping container to prevent damage to the unit and its coating during shipment. Contractor must comply with applicable provisions of AWS "Structural Welding Code-Steel"; Steel Plates, Shapes, and Bars: ASTM A 36/A 36M; ASTM a 36/a 36m, 1996 Carbon Structural Steel; SSPC SP 3, 1995 Power Tool Cleaning; SSPC SP 6, 1994 Commercial Blast Cleaning; and NAAMM "Metal Stair Manual" for Commercial Class Stairs and Railings.
