Force Base, Virginia is seeking sources for a design/build Multiple
Award Construction Contract (MACC). Work is to be performed in the
general construction category to include maintenance, repair,
alteration, mechanical, electrical, heating/air conditioning,
demolition, painting, paving, earthwork and waterfront work in both
family housing and industrial/office buildings. Work may potentially
involve new construction of buildings or facilities to include some or
all of the above elements of work. The awarded MACCs may include work
from any Federal installation or NASA in the Peninsula area of
Virginia or Seymour-Johnson AFB, NC. We anticipate awarding up to six
indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contracts with a one year base
period and six one-year option periods. Of these six possible
contracts, up to three contracts will be awarded to 8(a) contractors.
The remaining contracts will be awarded unrestricted. The magnitude of
construction will be over $10 million. The magnitude of individual
task orders will be from $5,000 to $3 Million. The SIC codes are 1521
(residential buildings, general construction, single family), 1522
(residential buildings, general construction, other than single
family), 1541 (industrial buildings and warehouse, general
construction) and 1542 (non-residential buildings, other than
industrial buildings and warehouses general construction). All of these
SIC codes have a size standard of $17 million. Interested sources

description of previous work experience. Interested companies should
indicate if they are willing to participate in an Industry Day forum in
