The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport intends to solicit limited competition between FEL Corporation and DRS Laurel Technologies for MPU cabinets with power control assembly, PN K434100001 with ECN43-P692, for the Multi-Sensor Torpedo Recognition and Alertment Processor (MSTRAP). The cabinets must be Grade A, Type A, Class II shock qualified as defined in MIL-STD-901D, and must be compatible with the MSTRAP system. Delivery is required by 9 August 2000. Only FEL Corporation and DRS Laurel Technologies can meet the MSTRAP requirements and the delivery requirements. FAR Parts 12 and 13 procedures will be used.
