The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability to provide Residential Community Corrections Center Services in one of the following counties in Indiana: St. Joseph, Lake, Laporte, or Porter for male and female offenders sentenced under various United States Statutes. Services required include subsistence, care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment to include furnishing medical and dental treatment. The services shall be performed in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work entitled, "Community Corrections Center", dated January 2000. The location must be in one of the following counties in Indiana: St. Joseph, Lake Laporte, or Porter. A firm-fixed-price-requirements type contract is anticipated with a two year base period and three one year option periods. The estimated number of inmate days for the base period is 19,710. The estimated number of inmate days for the first option year is 9,855. The estimated number of inmate days for the second option year is 10,248. The estimated number of inmate days for the third option year is 10,585. The ratio of males and females is 81% males and 19% females. The estimated issuance date for the Request for Proposals(RFP) is March 10, 2000. The estimated closing date for the RFP is May 10, 2000. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency.
