DIAGNOSTIC READ STATION The VA Boston Healthcare System, VA Medical Center, 150 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130-4893 intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Emed Technologies, 25 Hartwell Avenue, Lexington, MA 02421-3102 to provide and install an NXII-M4 Workstation Configuration. This configuration consists of one (1) ISG V3.0 Diagnostic Read Station, Model No. 23-10086; Four (4) DataRay 1.2 X 1.6 Monitors, Model No. 14-10009; Two (2) Dome md2/PCI Display controllers, Model No. 26-10008; and one (1) Dell Precision 410, 256 RAM, 8GB HD to include accessories and software licensing. Contractor shall also provide equipment installation, on-site repair, calibration, testing, and validation of performance and user application training and one-year parts and labor warranty. The purchase and installation of these workstations will ensure compatibility with an existing PAC system. This award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures and no solicitation will be made available. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the supplies/services that will satisfy its requirements. Any offeror purporting to be able to furnish a compatible system and services may submit a written response demonstrating such capabilities by February 28, 2000.
