The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Reinhold Gerbsch and Associates to provide rewrite of delivery format of existing training course material from a lecture-based to an interactive-based style. Reinhold Gerbsch is uniquely qualified because of his role in the design and development of the original existing proprietary course material and his previous experience on this project. The period of performance will be from the date of award through April 7th 2,000. No solicitation will be issued. NIST anticipates awarding a firm fixed priced purchase order on or before February 17, 2000. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. However, all responses received within the response date, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice issolely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill this requirement.
