The scope of work shall include, but not necessarily be limited to general renovation including demolition of existing drywall partitions and all associated services. General construction shall include installing drywall partitions; automatic bi-fold doors; providing finishes such as wall vinyl, vinyl floor tile, and corner guards; and providing all associated construction including door frames and miscellaneous furnishings. Electrical construction shall include relocation of a fire alarm pull box supplied to the renovated area. Addition and relocation of lighting and communication devices and miscellaneous electrical requirements. Contractor must be aware of the need to schedule work in concert with the full operation of the hospital. Work shall be performed in a way to minimize inconveniences within the SPD department. All construction shall be enclosed to minimize dust propagation. All work will be as shown on plans and as described in specifications. The construction cost for the project is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. Total construction time will be 60 days. Solicitation packages will be available on or about February 15, 2000.
