Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) intends to negotiate a sole source
procurement with Chadwick-Helmuth for an additional ten (10) Vibration
Analysis Support Equipment (VASE) systems for use by USMC H-1
aircraft. The systems shall perform all vibration, balance and track
requirements for the USMC H-1aircraft IAW NA01-110HCE-2-6. The systems
must be compatible/interchangable with the VASE systems currently in
use on the USMC AH-1W and the USAF UH-1N. There must be no Airframe
change involved. The systems must be able to store 100 transferable
track, balance and vibration signatures, provide a detailed annotated
test results/solution printout, provide for consistent RT&B of main
rotor achieved in 3 flights average, RT&B of tail rotor in 2 flights.
NAVAIRSYSCOM plans to award the order to Chadwick-Helmuth, 4601 North
Arden Drive, El Monte CA 91731. Interest in subcontracting
opportunities should be directed to Chadwick-Helmuth at the
above-mentioned address. This procurement is being contracted on a
