The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is requesting quotations from vendors for Replacement of the Andriotti Doctoring System for Andriotti Gravure Press (601). Enclosed Oscillation & Pivot Sub-assembly with linear bearing_s with Pneumatically Actuated on/off & includes manually adjustable compression spring for fine tuning, custom designed for our modified blade holders. Drawing are available upon request. The Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses (see numbered Note 1). The applicable NAICS (formerly SIC) code is 3555 and the associated small business size standard is 500. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is 54-00170. The total quantity is 1 each. Delivery shall be made within eighty days after receipt of purchase order. Delivery terms are F.O.B Destination to the BEP Loading Dock at _D_ Street, Between 13th & 14th Streets S.W. Washington, DC 20228. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be price and other factors e.g., past performance and quality.
