Please note that this Procurement 12-Q-99-BFM, originally published January 3, 2000, will be broken into three solicitation packages: 12-Q-99-B, 12-Q-99-F, 12-Q-99-M. The US Agency for International Development Mission to Egypt acting through the Governorate of Fayoum, the Government of Egypt Secretariat of the USAID Egypt Utility Management Water and Wastewater Planning Project, requests Bids from US organizations that can deliver one sewer vacuum truck each for the governorates Beni Suef, Fayoum and Minia within the steering committee represented by Fayoum. As noted in the previous advertisement, the tanker is to be delivered on a CIP, fast-tracked basis to the Port of Alexandria. The Truck will be not less than 13 cu yard body volume and not less than 120 horsepower motor, with 235 MPH minimum capacity blower and water tank not less than 350 gallons. Organizations who have already requested solicitation number 12-Q-99-BFM will receive all three solicitation packages and do not need to re-submit their expression of interest or their money order. These solicitations will end in three separate solicitations. Those interested in submitting offers for these solicitations must request solicitation packages that contain information including performance specifications by sending a $10 service and handling fee in the form of a money order made out to Harza Engineering Company to the above address and contact point. Company checks and personal checks will not be accepted. Per the January 3 advertisement, expressions of interest must be received no later than 12:00 noon (local time) 04 February, 2000. Solicitation packages will be sent via US mail after 04 February and firms will have 30 days to respond. Any transaction resulting from this announcement will be financed under USAID project no. 263-0270.01. Procurement under this USAID contract is limited to US goods and the eligible geographic code for nationality, source and origin is USAID Geographic Code 000 (U.S.).
