65 -- TELEMEDICINE ULTRASOUND EQUIPMENT SOL RFQ 549-00-RFQ-24 POC Adam Dearing, (214) 857-0029 VA North Texas Health Care System, Dallas, TX, intends to negotiate a sole source commercial item acquisition with Physician Sales & Service, Hawaii, for telemedicine ultrasound equipment for delivery & installation at Tripler Army Medical Center, HI. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Siemens and SonoSite equipment is required due to the high level of interoperability that is required between telemedicine equipment and software. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
