contemplates a Firm Fixed Price, Five (5) Year Requirement to be
awarded in response to this solicitation number 1PI-R-1540-00, SIC 3499
for Packaging. The item is as followed: Line Item #1-PKG3939
Description: Packaging, Width: 61 inches+/-.25inch,Length: 121 inches
+/-.25 inch, Flute: C, Test: 175 lbs per square inch, Unit of measure,
sheet, ESTIMATED QUANTITY 88,000 for a five year period . MUST BE
SINGLE WALL WITH KRAFT PAPER ON BOTH SIDES. These items will be ordered
by issuance of individual delivery orders, and will be billed and
delivered to F.O.B. destination, 30 days ARO, to UNICOR,Federal Prison
Industries, UNICOR, FPI MCKEAN, ROUTE 59 AND BIG SHANTY ROAD,LEWIS
RUN, PENNSYLVANIA 16738. A copy of the solicitation can be obtained
from UNICOR's website at www.unicor.gov/procurement/furniture. It is
the responsibility of allpotential offerors to check the website for
any amendments to this solicitation. All responsible sources may submit
an offer. Offererors may submit signed and dated Federal Express or
hand delivered offers to UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc.,
Material Management Branch, 400First Street, NW Washington, DC 20534,
7th floor, ATTN: Bid Custodian. In accordance with FAR 52.215-5,
facsimile proposals will be accepted@ (202) 305-7363. The due date and
time for receipt of proposals is February 11, 2000 at 13:00 hrs PM
EST. Each proposal must contain the name, address and telephone number
of the offeror as well as any discount terms that are offered. All
offerors must hold their prices firm for 60 calendars days from the due
date specified forreceipt of proposals. Incremental pricing will not be
accepted. Any amendments hereby issued to this solicitation will be
synopsized in the same manner as this solicitation and must be
acknowledged by each offeror. In order for the Government to evaluate
past performance, each offeror must submit references of at least five
previously performed contracts on the FP 19999.999.9 Business
Questionnaire. Address Remittance,
52.204-3taxpayerIdentification,Certification Regarding debarment,
suspension, proposed debarment and other responsibility
matters,52.215-6, Small Business Program Representations, and 52.22-25
Affirmative action compliance and Certifications and Representations
should be answered. ACH Vendor/Miscellaneous /Payment Enrollment form,
must be submitted.. Award will be made to the responsible offeror
submitting the proposal that is determined to be the best interest to
the Government considering price and/or cost and price-related factors,
if any, as specified in FAR 14.201-8, past performance and technical
quality. An EPA (Economic Price Adjustment) will be included in the
solicitation. The Government may make an award with or without any
discussions with offerors. Therefore, the offeror's initial proposal
should contain the offorer's best terms from a price standpoint. Offer
shall specify business size and classification as required in FAR
