Announcement (NRA): The National Aeronautics and Space Administration
(NASA) is interested in receiving proposals for basic experimental and
theoretical research using microgravity and space environments to
advance scientific knowledge and technology in fundamental physics. In
addition, proposals are sought to provide a fundamental understanding
of physical and chemical processes in extraterrestrial environments,
such as: Laser Cooling and Atomic Physics (LCAP), Low Temperature and
Condensed Matter Physics (LCTMP), Gravitational and Relatavistic
Physics and Biological Physics. A more detailed description of this
opportunity with specific guidelines for proposal preparation is
available from: Dr. Mark Lee, Enterprise Scientist for Fundamental
Physics, OLMSA, NASA Headquarters, Code UG, Washington, D.C. 20546.
This notice constitutes a NASA Research Announcement as contemplated in
FAR 6.102 (d) (2). Proposal due date is May 15th, 2000. Posted 02/01/00
