The Lower Michigan Acquisition Center, Detroit, Michigan is soliciting offers to provide Neurology Services by a board certified neurologist 1 day per week at the Aleda E. Lutz, VA Medical Center, 1500 Weiss Street, Saginaw, Michigan. The neurologist shall conduct clinics for patients with neurologic diagnoses or suspected to have neurologic conditions. Clinics shall consist of initial consultations, follow-up outpatient visits as deemed medically appropriate by the neurology physician or as requested by the medical staff members and will included diagnostic work up and treatment of patients as medically indicated. The successful offeror shall have access to facilities in the Saginaw locality for the purpose of performing examinations deemed necessary by the contract neurologist. The Aleda E. Lutz Medical Center does not have the facilities to perform examinations on-site. The solicitation will be issued on or about February 8, 2000.
