The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is soliciting two separate proposals for Real Estate Sales Closing Services for single family (one to four units) properties located within either of the following geographic areas in Massachusetts: 1) Bershire, Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire, Middlesex and Worchester Counties. 2) Barnstable, Bristol, Dukes, Essex, Nantucket, Norfolk, Plymouth and Suffolk Counties as described in the enclosed specifications for the Massachusetts Office of HUD which is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Homeownership Center. The offeror must demonstrate experience in sales closings of such properties. This will be a fixed-price indefinite quantity contract with a minimum of 50 and a maximum of 500 for the base contract period of one year with two (2) year options to extend the contract. The contractor shall either have or shall open, within 15 days after award, an office acceptable to HUD in the contract area except that an office in Dukes or Nantucket counties will not be deemed acceptable . The contractor must be a member of the Massachusetts State Bar. Solicitation packages will be available on February 17, 2000 at HUD's Massachusetts State office located at 10 Causeway Street, Room 365, Boston, MA 02222-1092. This is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. The SIC is 8111 and the size standard is $5,000,000. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
