Pre-Solicitation Notice: Provide materials and services necessary for
the Renovation of the Fixed-Wing Hangar, Building No. 103, at the U. S.
Coast Guard Air Station Miami in Opa-Locka, Florida. The work includes,
but is not limited to, lead paint and asbestos abatement in the 42,000
square foot Hangar Bay and two (2), two-story 11,000 (total 22,000 SF)
square foot Lean-to building wings; demolition of the interiors of the
two Lean-to building wings and hangar door ends of the Hangar Bay;
reconstruction renovation of those areas; and related site and utility
work. Major building components for the High-Bay Hangar are:
replacement of hangar doors at two ends of the hangar including a
modified structural support system and membrane roof tie-in,
installation of an overhead AFFF distribution and floor trench drain
system, high-performance floor coating, lighting, aircraft utility
hose-reel support systems, interior finishes and mechanical and
electrical systems. Major building components of the two (2), two-story
Lean-to's include complete interior renovation and construction of the
ground floor aircraft maintenance shops and toilet, shower, locker
room and supporting mechanical/electrical areas, and complete interior
renovation and construction of the second level living areas for the
aircraft flight crews including all support spaces. All work shall be
accomplished in accordance with Specification No. 07-X4007 and Drawing
No. 07-X4007 (Sheets 1-180). All work shall be completed within 455
calendar days after Award. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLY BY

Norfolk, VA. The estimated construction cost is between $5,000,000.00
and $10,000,000.00. The solicitation is unrestricted IAW the Small
