The project consists essentially of, but is not limited to, the construction of a 3-bay masonry car wash facility with standing seam metal roof, including all associated site work, mechanical and electrical systems necessary to complete the project. The project includes optional requirements for landscaping and recycle water. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1542. It is recommended that the contractor make an on site visit to evaluate the project to determine the extent of the work to be completed prior to submitting their proposal. The approximate issue date will be 22 Feb 00 with an approximate response date of 23 Mar 00. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal and is issued on an unrestricted basis to all firms registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). All responsive offerors will be considered by the agency. The contract performance period is 210 calendar days. The project magnitude is between $250,000 to $500,000. The entire solicitation, including the specifications and drawings, will be made available only on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) Web Site at http://www.eps.gov.
