The USAF Academy has a requirement for a contractor to provide Make Ready Cleaning for Military Family Housing (MFH) services at the USAF Academy. The contractor must be capable of providing cleaning services as outlined in the solicitation. SCOPE OF WORK-GENERAL: This will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract. As such, the contractor shall be required to provide all personnel, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, supervision, transportation associated with make ready cleaning of military family housing units after all maintenance work has been completed. Services will encompass cleaning of window glass and screens, mini blinds, basement floor and stairs, gas fireplace, light fixtures, carport/garages, ceramic tile and interior areas. In addition, cleaning of hardwood/parquet, vinyl/tile/linoleum floor surfaces, carpet covered floors and limited cleaning of kitchen appliances. MATERIALS: Cleaning materials provided by the contractor will be in compliance with OSHA and USAFA bioenvironmental standards. EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS: Contractor provided equipment shall have bumpers and guards to prevent marking or scratching of fixtures, furnishings, or building surfaces. Contractor provided electrical equipment shall be UL approved. Services shall be provided in accordance with all USAF and Academy procedures/regulations. This service is subject to the Service Contract Act of 1965. The RFP and all associated documents when issued will be posted on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) home page. Any resulting contract could potentially include a mobilization period, basic period of 4 months, one one-year option, and three six-month options.
