Z -- MAKE-UP AIR IN ACQUATICS LAB SOL 60181-0-Q190 DUE 032200 POC Tracie Richardson, Contracting Officer, 303/236-5412, x229 Contractor shall furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to install a variable speed, direct fired, make-up air unit to maintain a slight positive pressure in the aquatics laboratory building any time fume hoods are in operation. This unit shall be manually turned on whenever any of the hoods are in operation. As fume hoods are turned on and off, a static pressure sensor shall control a variable speed drive unit on the fan to control the building static pressure. The laboratory will remain in operation during the installation of the new make-up air unit. Work also includes installation of air cooled condensing unit, variable speed drive, controls, electrical, ductwork, diffusers, louvers, gas and refrigerant piping, trenching and concrete pads. This project is located at the Northern Prairie Wildlife Research Center, in Jamestown, North Dakota. The Government Estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. The successful quote will be evaluated on the basis of price, system components, control system used, previous experience, and availability for warranty work and service. The period of performance is 80 calendar days after receipt of the notice to proceed. A payment bond or other form of alternative payment protection will be required for this project.
