Project FNWZ 99-0018 consists of performing all operations in connection with installing a monorail safety lifeline system in both aircraft maintenance hangers (facilities 5020 and 5105). Work will include, but is not limited to: reinforced concrete bases on existing concrete floors; installation of steel columns and beams; installation of steel trusses to existing building roof structure; and installation of trolleys, carabiners, and self-retracting lifelines. This project will be a firm fixed-price contract with one (1) Base Line Item for facility 5020 and one (1) Option Line Item for facility 5105. The estimated contract magnitude in between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This procurement is unrestricted and is open to both large and small business. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1791 with a small business threshold of 7 Million. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 28 Feb 2000 on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) at www.eps.gov. Paper copies are not available.
