Terlaje, Contracting Officer, Tel (671) 339-8387 The work includes the following and incidental related work: (a) Replace Wash Water Troughs at Fena Water Treatment Plant Facility: The Fena Water Treatment Plant Facility is above ground potable (drinking) water holding/filtration tank facility. This facility contains a total of six (6) filter tank cells. It is a fully operational facility and will remain in operation during the duration of this contract. Construction work schedule shall be limited to one (1) filter tank cell at a time. Each filter tank cell must be completely repaird, accepted and brought back on-line before starting work on another filter tank cell. (1) Remove existing pre-cast concrete wash water trough. Eight (8) per filter tank cell forty-eight (48) total and replace with new pre-molded manufactured fiber glass troughs. (2) Remove existing access ladder, platform grating and cover plate one (1) each per filter cell six (6) total and replace with new stainless steel access ladder, fiber reinforced platform grating and stainless steel cover plate. (3)Remove existing manhole access cover in gullet, one (1) each per filter cell six (6) total and replace with new watertight access manhole frame cover. (4) Prepae and resurface existing deteriorated filter tank cell concrete wall surfaces with epoxy coating. (5) Remove and replace approximately 550 linear feet of existing 4" diameter header piping. (6) Remove and replace existing rotating agitator assembly, four (4) each per filter tank cell, twenty-four (24) total. (7) Remove and replace approximately 200 linear feet of existing 6" diameter wash piping, control gate valves, valve extension rod and floor stand assembly six (6) total.
