synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with
the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the
only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a
request for quotations (RFQ). Immigration & Naturalization Service
(INS) requires hotel accommodations in the Washington, DC area for
training during April 24-27, 2000. Specific accommodations include
fifty(50) hotel rooms; one (1) training room to include visual aids
such as easels(2), TV/VCR and overhead projector. The training room
must accommodate fifty(50) or more persons. It's requested that the
hotel be near a Metro rail service for travel conveniences. The
Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 7011. This
solicitation document and its incorporated provisions and clauses are
those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. The
provisions FAR 52.212-Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items (Aug
1998) and FAR 52.212-4-Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial
Items (Apr 1998) apply to this acquisition. The Contractor agrees to
comply with the FAR clauses in this paragraph (b) which the contracting
officer has indicated as being incorporated in this contract by
reference to implement provisions of law or executive orders applicable
to acquisitions of commercial items or components: 52.222-21,
Prohibition of Segregated Facilities (Feb 1999). 52.222-26, Equal
Opportunity (E.O.11246). 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled
