Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) has a requirement
to obtain engineering services required to support Code 4.5.5, Mission
and Sensor Systems, in the development of new non-acoustic sensor
systems and sensor signal processing systems. The tasks include
services for management support, engineering, design, equipment
fabrication, testing, software development, data processing, analysis,
modeling, and algorithm development related to non-acoustic sensor
systems and sensor signal processing systems. The contract type is
anticipated to be cost plus fixed fee. The period of performance is
estimated at 12 months plus four one-year options. The total estimated
level of effort required is 96,860 hours, approximately 19,372 hours
per year. The Standard Industry Code is 8711. All interested firms must
have or be able to obtain a SECRET facility clearance. This requirement
is a follow-on to N62269-94-C-1235 in which AMPAC is the incumbent. The
Navy intends to release the solicitation, including any subsequent
amendments, via the Internet. The solicitation will be available on the
NAVAIR Home Page located on the World Wide Web (WWW). The WWW server
may be accessed using client browsers such as NETSCAPE and INTERNET
