SET ASIDE. Pre-Solicitation Notice will be mailed on or about February
3, 2000. The anticipated issuance date for the Invitation for Bids
(IFBs) will be 2/23/00. The estimated Bid Opening Date is 3/23/00 at
1:30p.m. in the Business Service Center, Bid Room, 18-130. Bid
guarantee and performance bonds are required. THIS IS A PRE-INVIATION

by close of business February 17, 2000. In order to be considered for
award, the bidders must present evidence of at least three (3) years
successful experience providing Mechanical/Elevator Maintenance
Services similar to those required by this pre-invitation notice, at
delineated below: All supervisory personnel shall possess at least 5
years of experience within the past 10 years, as well as experience in
directing personnel responsible for accomplishing Mechanical/Elevator
Maintenance Services in a building of the approximate size (Gross
area: 161,113SF; Occupiable area: 106,318SF) and complexity comparable
to this site. Reputations shall be judged on satisfactory completion
of current or past contract services, based on verification of
references. Bidders will be considered only from responsible
organizations or individuals now or recently engaged in the performance
of building service contracts comparable to those described in this
Pre-Invitation Notice. In order to determine a bidder's qualifications,
the bidder will be requested to furnish a narrative statement listing
comparable contracts, which it has performed; a general history of its
operating organization; and its complete experience. Bidders will be
required to furnish a statement of its financial resources, show that
it has the ability to maintain a staff of regular employees adequate to
insure continuous performance of the work. Demonstrate that its
equipment and/or plant capacity for the work contemplated is
