The U.S. Special Operations Command requires one (1) Field Service Engineer (FSE) to provide support for the Personnel Locator System (PLS). The FSE will be located at Ft. Campbell, KY. The base period of performance is 1 Apr 00 through 31 Mar 01, with options to renew up to four (4) additional years. The FSE must have a thorough knowledge of PlS Manufacturing processes, repair procedures and components manufactured by Cubic Field Services, Inc. and its subcontractors/vendors. The primary uses of the FSE shall be to provide advisory service for updating the skills of DA maintenance personnel and to serve as a liaison between Cubic and the customer organization. The intended source is Cubic Field Services, Inc. Cubic developed and installed the System on the user's uniquely configured MH-60 and MH-47 special mission aircraft. Cubic has been performing this service for the last two (2+) years. There are no other known sources who would be capable of performing the requested services. The FSE must possessa security clearance not less than secret. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Note 22 applies.
