This procurement is for round trip bus transportation of approximately 141 passengers from/to Naval Station Everett, Washington to/from the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (USS Paul F. Foster), Bremerton, Washington via the Washington State Ferry System each weekday. Weekend passenger load will be approximately 47. Service is anticipated to commence on 22 February 2000 and complete 25 April 2000. Contractor to provide certified drivers, fuel, maintenance and arrange for ferry passage. Buses must be intercity touring type, be air conditioned and have bathroom facilities. In accordance with DOD Regulation 4500.9-R, only bus carriers currently qualified by the Military Traffic Management Command (MTMC) are eligible for contract award. This is a FAR part 12 acquisition.
