U.S. Coast Guard has a requirement for rental of the following
equipment: 20 each, 22-foot to 24-foot, high visibility platform boats
of fiberglass construction, with outboard engines. Each boat shall be
equipped with the following: 24-mile radar; differential GPS, digital
depth sounder, VHF factory programmable radio, speed to reach 25
knots, enclosed crew area (cabin or Bimini top or canvas with side
curtains for foul weather). The rented boats will be used in the New
York Harbor during OPSAIL 2000. Boats shall be delivered to Marine
Ocean Terminal, Bayonne, NJ. Rental period is 30 June 2000 through 7
July 2000. Technical support and spare parts shall be provided to
ensure full operability throughout the entire rental period. This
procurement is 100% set-aside for small business with SIC Code 3732
assigned. The size standard is 500 employees. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE
