includes but is not limited to, providing all labor, materials,
equipment & supervision required to remove & replace all the windows in
the main curtain wall. Replace all insulated glazing units in the main
curtain wall, remove existing pressure bars, install new sealant and
gasketing. Replace stainless steel snap on covers as required. Remove
all the butt glazed strip joints. Install receiver frames at the head
& jambs to allow for structural movements w/o loss of seal integrity.
New strip windows shall be 1" insulated units. New work shall include
rehabbing the ground level storefront system with component replacement
and removal similar to the curtain wall. Install 1" IGU's to replace
existing glazing. This procurement is unrestricted in accordance with
the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The SIC Code
is 1542 with a size standard of $17 million. The cost range is
estimated between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Completion of work 415
days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. This is a negotiated
procurement, the number of proposals received, the identity of offers,
the amount of any offer or relative standing of any offer will not be
disclosed. The Solicitation will be available on or about February 18,
2000. GSA is issuing this solicitation only electronically. Interested
parties may access the solicitation at http://www.eps.gov. The site
provides instructions for downloading the solicitation file. Potential
offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and
drawings. It is also the responsibility of the offeror to monitor this
