This will be an Indefinite Quantity Type Contract to furnish all equipment, personnel, supplies, fuel, maintenance, and supervision to perform various construction and repair activities at outlet works stilling basin, Waco Lake, Waco, TX. Work includes cleaning of outlet works including the removal of the water after Corps of Engineers installs a cofferdam and removes the fish. The stilling basin floor shall receive a 6-inch concrete overlay with reinforcing and epoxy grouting of anchors. Approximately 4 baffle blocks will be removed and replaced. Work shall also include the cleaning of relief drains adjacent to the stilling basin. Actual work performed will be authorized by task orders issued independently to the contractor during the term of the contract. The plans and specifications will be placed on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a paper hard copy format. Notification of amendments shall be made through either 3.5" diskette, CD-ROM, and/or the Internet. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of CD-Rom and the Internet. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation. It is, therefore, the contractor's responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation.
