NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ)820-65838-709 for 1 each of a Thermal Vacuum Test Chamber comprised of an altitude simulation capability of 2000 ft. and thermal capabilities from -100 degrees Celsius to +150 degrees Celsius, with both circulating convection temperature control and sensor driven radiant temperature control. Note that the radiant temperature control will only control temperature of sensors located in workspace and not at the shroud surfaces or at coolant inlets. Specifications will be issued with the Request for Quotation. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR PART 12. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC Code and Size Standard are 3569 and 500, respectively.
