The Government is performing a Market Survey to: 1)Acquire Potential Vendor Sources of supply, who are capable/interested in providing a Fuel Injection Pump Test Stand (FITS) in accordance with the statement of work specified below. Statement of Work:The Fuel Injection Pump Test Stand (FITS) facilitates the testing and calibration of diesel engine fuel pumps in accordance with the pump manufacturers specifications. The Stand tests fuel injection pumps, which deliver up to 400 cubic millimeters per stroke per cylinder at full load. The moment of inertia at full load is in accordance with ISO 4008/1 at 550 revolutions per minute. The Test Stand drives pump shafts in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions. The Test Stand is floor mounted and is equipped with appropriate instrumentation, controls, calibration fluid, lubricating oil systems, and pump coupling devices. The FITS will test the specified pumps, when connected to the appropriate electrical or electrical and air power sources, utilizing the appropriate adapter kit. The Test Stand should meet the appropriate requirements of ISO Standards 4008/1 and 4008/2. The Test Stand will test the pumps listed below using appropriate adapter kits as required to mount these pumps to the Test Stand provided. Caterpillar engine numbers are listed in lieu of the pump numbers. (2) Kit for the DB2829YL 4267 pump (eight calibrated nozzles are part of this kit). c. AMBAC Pump Kits Kits for PSB6A90EH, PSB4A110EH, and PSB12BT (calibrating nozzles per ISO 4010 are not a part of this kit). Matching sets of test nozzles for the PSB6A90EH and PSB12BT pumps are furnished with the kits. AMBAC Test Nozzles are KT-7831 for a set of 16 and KT7830 for a set of eight.
