The Department of Veterans Affairs, Portland VA Medical Center, 3710 SW US Vets Hospital Rd., Portland, Oregon, 97207 intends to negotiate with Agilent Technologies, 10301 David Taylor Drive, 2nd Floor, Charlotte, NC 28262-2334, for the purchase of one model 5973N mass spectrophotometer/gas chromatograph and associated peripherals to include training and installation and one year warranty. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Solicitation Number 648-19-00 has been assigned to this procurement. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-13, SIC 3842. Vendor shall provide all labor, material, tools and equipment necessary to furnish and install the required system. Equipment shall be shipped FOB Destination. The equipment MUST be compatible with the other existing HP MSD/GC. This will be a firm fixed price contract and must include all cost associated with the delivery, training and installation of the equipment. Vendor shall provide a full one-year warranty on all parts and labor from final date of final acceptance by the Government. Payments will be made in arrears.
