Stringfield, Purchasing Agent, (202) 514-5731 or John Young, Contracting Officer, (202) 305-7745 The Office of Justice Programs (OJP) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Kastle Systems, LLC, 1501 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, Virginia, 22209, to continue providing security coverage to the interior controlled access point at OJP, 810 7th street, NW. Currently, Kastle Systems provides security throughout the 810 7th Street facility, 7 days a week with 24 hour coverage related to monitoring, service calls, repairs, and customer service. OJP has the ability, using Kastle Systems' satellite computer, to control Kastle access cards and to make and delete entries necessary for OJP to cover its security needs. It is recommended that OJP retain its current computer and security system because it would not be cost effective to completely remove Kastle's security system and replace it with another system.
