(202)307-3070 Sources having the ability to provide OUT-PATIENT
Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment Services in the Tampa, Florida area
for Federal offenders (inmates) held under the authority of various
United States Statutes. The source must be licensed in the state of
Florida to provide substance abuse treatment services. A
firm-fixed-price requirements type contract with a one-year base period
and four one-year option periods is anticipated. For the base period,
an estimated 58 inmates will each require one intake assessment, 48
thirty-minute individual counseling sessions, and 72 thirty-minute
group counseling sessions. Also during the base period, an estimated 7
inmates will require 12 thirty-minute sessions of family counseling.
For the first option period, an estimated 64 inmates will each require
one intake assessment, 48 thirty-minute individual counseling
sessions, and 72 thirty-minute group counseling sessions. Also during
the first option period, an estimated 8 inmates will require 12
thirty-minute sessions of family counseling. For the second option
period, an estimated 70 inmates will each require one intake
assessment, 48 thirty-minute individual counseling sessions, and 72
thirty-minute group counseling sessions. Also during the second option
period, an estimated 9 inmates will require 12 thirty-minute sessions
of family counseling. For the third option period, an estimated 77
inmates will each require one intake assessment, 48 thirty-minute
individual counseling sessions, and 72 thirty-minute group counseling
sessions and an estimated 10 inmates will require 12 thirty-minute
sessions of family counseling. For the fourth option period, an
estimated 85 inmates will each require one intake assessment, 48
thirty-minute individual counseling sessions, and 72 thirty-minute
group counseling sessions. Also during the fourth option period an
estimated 11 inmates will require 12 thirty-minute sessions of family
counseling The services described shall be in accordance with the
Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of work entitled "Statement of
Work, Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT)", dated November 16,
1999. The estimated issuance date for the Request for Proposals (RFP)
is February 22, 2000. The estimated closing date for the RFP is March
22, 2000. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be
considered by this Agency. Those interested in receiving
