The Library of Congress intends to issue a delivery order against an existing Basic Ordering Agreement to renew a subscription with Questel/Orbit, Inc. (OR) for the continued use and access of their database by the Patent and Trademark Office, Washington (DCPS). Questel/ORBIT Search Services provide online access to scientific, technical, chemical and patent information from over 80 databases. Questel/ORBIT offers the most comprehensive collection of patent databases available online and is a leading provider of materials, energy, chemical and environmental files. The QPAT-US database is available on an annual or a month to month subscription basis and is also available via the Internet. Questel/ORBIT provides full service gateways to the Official Airlines Guide (OAG) and the World Patents Index -- Markush (WPIM). The OAG provides menu driven access to air fares, flight schedules, arrival, departure and gate information and general travel industry information. WPIM is a chemical graphics retrieval software for Markush structures as defined in patents from around the world. Service will be continued through September 30, 2000.
