TECHNOLOGY SYMPOSIUM VII 44th ANNUAL FUZE CONFERENCE and MUNITIONS
TECHNOLOGY SYMPOSIUM VII, April 10-12, 2000, Hilton Pleasanton at The
Club, Pleasanton, CA. This year's theme for the 44th Fuze Conference is
"Flexibility in Fuzing" and the theme for the Munitions Technology
Symposium VII is " Technology Advancements in Munitions Manufacturing".
The objective of this event is to provide a forum for the exchange of
information throughout the fuzing and munitions manufacturing and
technology community. Research, development and procurement plans and
programs are presented by the US Government and Armed Services
officials; and the latest advances in safety, arming and fuzing are
detailed by industry and government experts. There are unclassified and
classified US Only sessions in the Fuze Conference. The Munitions
Manufacturing and Technology Symposium is unclassified. Mr. Keith
Charles, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Plans, Programs and
Policy will give the Keynote Address. Other speakers include Mr.
Anthony Kress, Principal Assistant, Strategic and Tactical System
Munitions, Office of the Secretary of Defense, COL Gary E. Payne,
Commander, Close Combat Armaments Center, COL Craig Naudain, Director,
System Integration & Operations, Office, Program Executive Officer,
Tactical Missiles and COL James Naughton, Acting Deputy Chief of Staff
