This is a sole source procurement with the Hilton Tampa Airport Westshores, Tampa, Florida authorized by 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). MacDill AFB proposes to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Hilton Tampa Airport to provide conference facilities and support during the period of 20-26 February 2000. Specifications (quantities are estimates): (1) Location: within 25 driving miles of MacDill AFB (2) sleeping rooms: single 70. Individuals to pay for rooms by respective credit cards/cash. (3) co-location of lodging and seminar facilities. (4) main conference room, estimated 5 break-out rooms, a conference operation center with up to 6 phone lines and Internet access. (8) lodging and daily food cost ( to include meals, breaks, and reception) may not exceed the U.S. Joint Federal Travel Regulations per diem rates in effect. (9) free parking.
