The project consists of island wide paving and rehabilitation of segments of Routes 315 and 30. The work includes removal of asphalt pavement, roadway excavation, shoulder and ditch reconditioning, placement of aggregate and hot asphalt concrete pavement, asphalt pavement milling, and other miscellaneous work. Principal items of work and approximate quantities are as follows: Hot asphalt concrete pavement, Class B, Type 4 pavement smoothness: 2035 tons; Hot asphalt concrete pavement, Class B, Grading D, wedge or leveling course: 1025 tons; Guardrail system G4, Type 2, Class B (steel posts): 680 m; and Paved waterway, Type 4: 840 m2.
