The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation to perform all required work according to the Individual Job Orders (IJO) and specifications to include install and compact aggregate base course, remove deteriorated or damaged bituminous pavement and construct new bituminous pavement, remove deteriorated or damaged concrete pavement and construct new concrete pavement, apply latex modified slurry seal, remove deteriorated or damaged concrete walks and construct new concrete walks, remove deteriorated curb and gutter or valley gutter and construct new curb and gutter or valley gutter, remove and reinstall steel plate guard rails, dispose of debris on all projects, perform cold milling of pavement surfaces and haul millings to new location, apply pavement markings, adjust manhole and valve box to proper elevation, clean, prepare and seal pavement cracks and joints, perform seeding and fertilizing of damaged turf areas, and perform traffic control. The required work is in various areas of Fort Riley, Kansas. Proposed contract with be a firm fixed price requirements type contract. Sealed Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 26 March 2000. The estimated cost is more than $10,000,000.00. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 1611.
