This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The only approved source for this solicitation is Rolls-Royce Allison FSCM: 63005. Solicitation F41608-00-Q-46041ed as a request for quotation (RFQ). Contract line item 0001 is for 70 EA of Exhuast Cone (NSN 2840-01-347-7857RW, P/N 23052623). Size/Dimensions:Overall length, approximately 9.219 x 9.953 -- 9.938 in diameter; Form/Fit/Function Description: The exhaust cone is mounted to the end of the turbine module. The cone is installed over an insulation blanket which is similar in shape to the exhaust cone which din-turn housed the rear oil scavenge pump. This item is applicable to both the T56-7/-15 engines. Predominant Material of Manufacture: AMS 5521. Materiel is to be delivered to FB2039, Mark for Account 09 as follows: 70 each -- 31 December 2000. Acceptance and FOB are at origin. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items also applies to this acquisition. Qualifications requirements are in accordance with Commercial procedures. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with their offer.
