Furnish and deliver four (4) thrust bearing oil coolers for Wolf Creek Power Plant, Jamestown, Kentucky in accordance with drawings and specifications which will be provided in the Request For Quote (RFQ) package. Each cooler consists of a frame, tube sheets, fixed head, floating head, and 34 cooler tubes. Cooler tubes consist of an inner tube of a copper nickel alloy and an outer aluminum tube from which integral fins are extruded. The coolers are approximately 61" in length and approximately 7" wide. The coolers are designed to replace existing coolers in 45 MW hydroelectric generators. RFQ packages will be available on or about 18 February 2000. Quotes are to be submitted by the close of business (4:15 p.m. Central Standard Time) 09 March 2000. Award will be made on or about 13 March 2000 with expected delivery date on or about 15 June 2000. This solicitation is 100% Small Business Set-Aside and is not expected to exceed $100,000. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3568.
