The Army National Guard is performing a market survey to acquire potential vendor sources of supply who are capable of and interested in providing engine flush and cleaning systems. Systems must (1) be self contained, portable and easy to transport; (2) be wheel mounted for ease of maneuverability; (3) be sized to occupy no more than nine square feet of floor space; (4) use proven environmentally safe chemicals and products; (5) be adaptable for light, heavy and industrial applications; (6) be provided complete with adapters for all types of Army vehicle engines, both diesel and gasoline; and (7) be electrically powered (110V 15 amp or 240V 7.5 amp). Interested vendors should provide (1) commercial catalogs/pamphlets/literature that includes names, model numbers and operating specifications; (2) public price lists; and (3) availability data to be utilized for evaluation of the possible acquisition of the system. Additional information: (1) business size under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 3569 (500 employees); and (2) a statement whether or not item can be quoted on a firm fixed price basis, inclusive of all costs.
