P/N: D1954, 4-8GHz Series D195 Octave-Band Pin Diode Attenuator/Modulator and 18 ea. P/N: D1955, 5-10GHz Octave-Band Pin Diode Attenuator/Modulator. The Pin Diode Attenuators are part of SAO's IF/LO and Correlator First Down Converter Assemblies for the Submillimeter Array Project. The electronics system has been designed and fabricated around these components and these attenuators/modulators meet all required specifications including bandwidth, insertion loss, temperature coefficient and switching time. A determination by SAO not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of SAO. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This acquisition is being conducted under the guideline as set forth in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). No written solicitation will be issued for this requirement.
