65 -- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE SOL RFQ: 553-45-00 DUE 022200 POC Ms. Barbara Wilkinson, 313-576-3737 The Department of Veterans Affairs, John D. Dingell Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI intends to negotiate with Tracer Corporation, P.O. Box 970697, Boca Raton, FL 33497-0697, for the purchase of one Tracer CAD System, Premier Configuration and one TracerCAD Toolkit Plus to use with Provel, includes installation and all software updates and support for the first year. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Solicitation number RFQ: 553-45-00 has been assigned to this procurement. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-13, SIC 3842. Vendor shall provide all labor, material, tools and equipment necessry to furnish and install Tracer CAD System, Premier Configuration and TracerCAD too kit Plus to use with Provel. The equipment must be compatible with PDI Carver and enable hospital personnel to carve a fully formed AFO. Equipment shall be shipped FOB Destination within 30 calendar days from receipt of purchase order. Vendor shall provide training to hospital personnel at a mutually agreed upon time with Prothetics and Company. Vendor shall provide a full one-year warranty on all parts and labor from final date of final acceptance by the Government. Payments will be made in arrears on certified invoice upon final acceptance by the Government.
