67 -- PURCHASE OF DIGITAL TRANSFER SCOPE FOR DIGITAL PHOTO INTERPRETATION POC Carol Bloem, Contracting Officer, tel: (413) 253-8237 The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to award a contract, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, to Optem International for two Digital Transfer Scopes, hard copy/softcopy workstations for wetland mapping, wetland trend analyses and other mapping work. This equipment essentially combines a steroscope, digitizing tablet and GIS system in a single workstation to allow stereo photo interpretations, digitizing, editing and GIS on a single desktop computer. A firm fixed-price contract is contemplated.
