on or about 14 FEB 00, the Strategic and Nuclear Deterrence Command and
Control System Program Office, Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air
Force Base, Massachusetts, anticipates release of Request for Proposal
F19628-00-R-0018 for the replacement and operational improvement of
the MCCC existing databus infrastructure. This notice of intent is not
a request for competitive proposals. This action is a Stage II,
follow-on contract for a Commercial Operations and Support Savings
Initiative (COSSI) effort and will be a sole source contract to JAYCOR,
Inc., of San Diego, CA. The scope of contract effort will be
concentrated in the following areas: (1) integration and installation
of a new databus system with a COTS-based high performance alternative
for battle management and communications shelters, (2) initial
logistics planning, provisioning, training, and documentation of the
new infrastructure, (3) upgrade of the existing electrical, electronic,
and shelter systems to provide seamless interaction with the new bus,
(4) testing and "kit-proofing" of system and sub-system upgrades prior
to installation in the mission platforms, (5) successful completion of
operational testing of the existing systems and DDS, to include meeting
and/or exceeding MIL-STD 188-125(2), (6) successful completion of
security test and evaluation (ST&E), and (7) produce security
documentation to support final system accreditation. The period of
performance for Execution will not exceed 36 months from contract award
date. Interested firms shall indicate whether they are a large
business, small business, very small business, small disadvantaged
business, 8(a) concern, women-owned small business, or HUBZone small
business. Additionally, respondents shall indicate whether they are
