US Army TACOM-ARDEC is contemplating the award of a two-year multi-year contract for the initial production of the M782 Multi-Option Fuze for Artillery (MOFA). The US Army plans to purse production through a competitively awarded multi year contract for FY00 and FY01, limiting competition to the U.S. and Canadian sources. Quantities are estimated at 47,000 in FY00 and 163,000 in FY01. The Highest security classification for this program is secret. Offers will be solicited on a 40/60/100 percentage allocation basis. The Government will have the option of splitting the buys between two (2) qualified producers if funding permits.
